Reaching Out To Our Community

Our community is our family, our friends, our employees. It's all of us, and at John Randolph, our commitment to people does not begin or end when someone comes to the hospital. It's an ongoing relationship with those who need our help and support every day. We work to be an active partner with our community as we look to a healthy future together. Here are just a few ways we like to give back to our community:

• Annual United Way campaign, giving employees the opportunity to make contributions and support affiliated programs
• Time off with pay for our employee's to serve their civic obligation through Jury Duty
• A host of community support programs including parenting classes, anger management, diabetes support groups, cancer support groups and alcohol and drug education groups
• Senior Friends club and activities
• Market sponsor for the Heart Walk, Relay for Life, Juvenile Diabetes
• Ongoing financial support and resources for free clinics and other free standing health clinics

JRMC EAG Sponors Food and Magazine Drives!

The JRMC Employee Advisory Group recently sponsored a food drive to help feed those less fortunate in our community. Canned and non-perishable items were collected through the end of July and were donated to the Hopewell Food Pantry.

The EAG is also sponsoring a magazine collection drive. 2007 magazines in good condition are being collected and distributed throughout the hospital for patients and their families in waiting rooms and other public areas.
